Comma.ai was founded by George Hotz and develops openpilot with an open-source community. Openpilot provides adaptive cruise control and automated lane centering for listed vehicle configurations; it is intended as supervised Level 2 assistance and requires the driver to remain alert and able to retake control. In openpilot 0.11, comma describes a training pipeline that learns a World Model from fleet-collected driving data and trains a driving policy through simulated interactions.
