Yes. AI Understanding is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 41-3273048). Contributions are tax-deductible in the United States to the extent permitted by law. Online gifts are processed by our own Stripe checkout, which emails your tax receipt immediately. Gifts made through PayPal Giving Fund are receipted by PayPal Giving Fund. Gifts sent to us directly by wire, ACH, DAF or stock are receipted by AI Understanding.

Can I get a refund on a donation?

No. All donations are final and non-refundable, as stated at checkout. If you were charged twice or for a different amount than you chose, email info@aiunderstanding.org within 14 days and we will correct it. Monthly and yearly gifts can be cancelled at any time to stop future payments.

Yes, and these are the most efficient ways to give. We handle DAF grants, appreciated stock, bank wires and corporate matching directly rather than through a platform, so nothing is deducted in fees.
