Circle has launched Arc Studio, an AI coding agent that can generate full-stack onchain applications from natural language prompts. The tool allows developers to describe what they want to build in ordinary language, and the agent assembles a working prototype around it. Arc Studio can be accessed through a web interface or plugged in as a subagent inside existing coding tools. It can generate frontend interfaces, backend logic, and smart contracts directly from a description of the intended application. The system can also write Solidity contracts, run initial reviews, and deploy them to testnets.
Arc Studio is an AI coding agent launched by Circle that generates full-stack onchain applications, including frontend interfaces, backend logic, and smart contracts, from natural language prompts.
The tool allows testing generated applications across nine blockchain networks, including Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Ethereum, Polygon, Unichain, and others.
Developers can export the generated code to their own repositories and use their own credentials and infrastructure to deploy on mainnet; Arc Studio itself does not sign or submit mainnet transactions.
Circle cautions that AI-generated code may contain errors or security vulnerabilities and should be independently reviewed and tested before production deployment.

The launch of Arc Studio is significant because it can speed up early-stage prototyping for developers who don't want to hand-code every wallet connection, gas setting, or protocol integration from scratch. It can also help developers test their builds across nine blockchain networks, giving teams a way to check compatibility before committing to a production environment.

The combination of AI-assisted development and stablecoin-native infrastructure may translate into a meaningfully larger developer base on Arc, but only adoption data over the coming months will show.
