Use of donations
All donations to AI Understanding are used to:

Financial stewardship

We do not sell or rent donor information. Stripe, which powers our donation checkout, and PayPal Giving Fund process payments under their own privacy terms. They may provide us with donation records, such as your name, contact information, gift amount, and designation, when needed for acknowledgments, reporting, fraud prevention, or donor support. Anonymous-giving options depend on the selected platform.
Recurring donations
Recurring gifts are managed through the donation platform used to create them. Use the management link in your receipt or account, contact that platform's support team, or email us and we will help route your request. Processing dates and cancellation timing are set by the selected platform.
Refunds and chargebacks
Donations are final and non-refundable, as stated at checkout. If a gift was charged twice or for a different amount than you chose, email us within 14 days with the donation date and amount and we will correct it. Recurring gifts can be cancelled at any time to stop future payments. A payment provider may still reverse a gift because of fraud, a dispute, or a failed payment. See our refund policy.
Tax deductibility
AI Understanding is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your donation may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We recommend consulting with a tax professional.
