If AI suggests a medical statement, verify it with the care team. Roleplaying a child’s questions can prompt adult preparation, but it does not predict what that child will feel or say. Avoid euphemisms that might confuse, such as implying death is sleep, and adapt factual explanations to the family’s beliefs and needs. Do not share identifiable health or family details with an unapproved service. If the conversation involves immediate danger or a child’s safety, contact appropriate professional or emergency support. AI can help an adult prepare wording, but care and trust come from listening and responding to the child.
