Microsoft uses the Copilot name across multiple products and account types, so “Copilot for educators” is not one fixed feature set. Microsoft Learn provides education-specific guidance for administrators on security and privacy configuration for Copilot and Copilot Chat. Teachers may use approved tools to draft or summarize material, but administrators must confirm which service, license, data protections, and controls are actually enabled in their tenant.
