Akopọ
They can help with outlining, phrasing, and editing, but the person publishing the work remains responsible for accuracy, intended meaning, attribution, and the effect on readers.
Awọn gbigba bọtini
- Give the writer a purpose and evidence.
- Verify additions against original sources.
- Preserve uncertainty and conditions during editing.
Jin Dive
Begin with the audience, purpose, and evidence. A draft for a beginner needs different vocabulary and examples from a technical change log. Supply the facts that must remain fixed and distinguish those facts from suggestions about tone or structure. Separate drafting from verification. A model can reorganize supplied material while also adding unsupported details. Check names, dates, quantities, quotations, and sources against the originals. Ask for missing information to be marked explicitly rather than filled with plausible prose. Editing should preserve commitments and uncertainty. Replacing “may” with “will” can turn a possibility into a promise. A shorter sentence can omit an essential condition. Review the meaning of each substantial change, especially when the writing affects instructions, policies, or a reader’s decision. Keep a working version history and an identifiable final reviewer. Remove confidential material that the chosen service is not authorized to process. For public writing, add your own observations, analysis, and relevant examples; producing more pages is not a substitute for giving a reader a useful answer.
Imọ-imọ-ẹrọ
A writing model does not provide independent evidence for a claim merely by repeating it confidently. Generated citations and quotations require the same checking as other factual content.
Catch a change in meaning
- Start with the invented source sentence “The pilot may open in October if testing succeeds.”
- An assistant rewrites it as “The service launches in October.” Identify the lost uncertainty, condition, and distinction between a pilot and a service.
- Revise it to preserve all three facts, then check whether the shorter wording still serves the intended reader.
The exercise evaluates faithful editing rather than attractive phrasing alone.
