Its jokes tend to be generic, and a room laughs because it recognizes the person, not at puns. Keep the funny moments rooted in real, specific details. Check for material that excludes or embarrasses people: exes, heavy drinking stories, inside jokes only three people understand, or anything you would not say in front of grandparents. Rehearse out loud several times, ideally for one honest listener. Print the speech in a large font or use note cards, mark where to pause, and keep eye contact during the toast line. Never let the AI invent memories. If it did not happen, it does not go in.
