Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes. AI Understanding is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 41-3273048). Contributions are tax-deductible in the United States to the extent permitted by law. Every.org, our donation processor, emails you a receipt immediately; we can issue an additional acknowledgment letter on request.
Where exactly does my money go?
Your donation supports mission delivery and the infrastructure behind it: new and updated guides, quizzes, tools, translations, accessibility, hosting, search, security, and responsible operations.
What payment methods can I use?
Donations are processed by Every.org, which accepts credit and debit cards, bank transfers, PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, Google Pay, gift cards, and crypto — no account required for card or bank giving.
Can I give monthly instead of one time?
Yes. Choose the monthly option on the donation form. Recurring gifts help us plan content and translations months in advance.
Do you accept stock, DAFs, or wire transfers?
Yes. Every.org supports stock and crypto gifts and donor-advised fund (DAF) grants directly on the donation form. For wire transfers or corporate matching, email [email protected] and we'll send our financial details and a written acknowledgment.
Is my donor information private?
We do not sell or rent donor data. Every.org and PayPal Giving Fund handle payment details under their own privacy terms and may share donation records with us when needed for acknowledgment, reporting, and donor support. You may give anonymously where the selected platform allows it.
