What we have shipped.
Every change here is one you could notice as a reader — a new free tool, something made better, or something we got wrong and fixed. Internal plumbing is left out on purpose.

Work out what an AI feature will actually cost per month across 16 models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google, including prompt-caching and batch discounts. Every price is transcribed from the provider's own pricing page and shown with the date it was checked.

Prompt library
Twenty free prompts for learning, teaching, writing, research, work and building. Each one explains the technique it uses, so working through a few makes you better at prompting rather than just leaving you with a longer list.

One reading axis on every page
Headings used to be centred while the eyebrow and body copy beneath them were left-aligned, so most pages had two competing axes. Headings, hero blocks and button rows now share the same edge as the text they belong to. Standalone pages like 404 still centre by design.

A much shorter footer
The footer was close to three phone screens tall. It is now roughly half that: balanced link columns, the duplicated trust cards folded into one credibility line, and collapsible sections on phones. Every link it had is still there.

The AI tutor no longer skips its own introduction
On phones the page focused the message box on load, which made the browser jump about 620 pixels down — past the heading and the explanation of what the tutor is. It now opens at the top with the box still ready to type in.

Topic hub heading hidden behind the header
The news topic hub reserved less space than the fixed header occupies, so its first line sat behind the navigation bar on phones.

Certification and tutor pages share correctly
Both pages were posting to social networks with no preview image, because each page's own settings replaced the shared card image rather than adding to it.

Eleven tool guides were missing from the sitemap
Pages such as the best AI tools for developers and for enterprise were live and linked but absent from the sitemap, because the list was hardcoded separately from the pages themselves. It now derives from one source, so a new guide cannot be forgotten again.

The RSS feed was empty
The feed at /rss.xml returned a valid but completely empty channel, telling every reader that probes that address that we publish nothing. It now points at the real feed.

Tool cards are fully clickable
The whole card in the tools directory is now a target, rather than only the title link.

Branded article cards on social
News shared to X and LinkedIn now uses proper branded preview images and keeps article link cards intact, so a shared story looks like a story rather than a bare URL.

Faster homepage on phones
The lead image below the fold now loads lazily and unnecessary hero animation was removed, so the first screen paints sooner on a phone.

Icons in the jobs form stretched their buttons out of shape on small screens.

Donate button readable on every background
The donate button lost contrast where it sat on the violet panels, and is now guaranteed readable against them.

Media links in newsletters that had already gone out could stop resolving. Older issues now stay intact.
